Jyrki Korpua is a Finnish university reseacher at the University of Oulu and he acts as Chair of the Board in The Finnish Society for Science Fiction and Fantasy Research and is former chair of The Society for Cultural Studies (Kulttuurintutkimuksen seura ry).
